I can get connection on my PC but not my laptop.?

i recently had a virus on my laptop but i am 90% sure i deleted the whole thing. i ran avast and spybot. but now i can't get internet connection on the laptop but i can on my PC. i run on netgear wireless. please help me!

Check if the wireless adapter is enabled first...If not enalbe it and also any wireless button on ur laptop.. Also try reinstalling the wireless modem program and setup the connection again, since there are chances that the virus mite have corrupted some windows files...

is the wireless on the laptop turned on?

and the device enabled?
Down on the tool bar, or in your control panel should be an icon that looks like a satellite dish. It's your connection settings, in there should be a list of connections running, or possible connections.

Click on the Netgear icon in that or browse for it and you should get more detailed instructions.

It should show if you're missing an important protocol or at least give you a small head start for when you go to the Netgear help.
