My antivirus can't get rid of some viruses in my computer, what do I do?

I downloaded the new avast and I've done the search a couple times with the same results. It finds the viruses but it won't dop anything to it because ''the file is password protected''. I've been trying to find the files through ''my computer'' folder, but it's as if the folders the file is supposed to be on doen't even exist!!

Help!! What do I do? I didn't want to buy a anti-virus at the moment.. i'm broke! help help help
