Im having trouble with downloading things can u help me plz??

i cant download programes such as internet explorer 7, msn messenger or avast!we i try to download it a box shows up saying '' your current security settings do not allow this file to be downloaded'' i have put all the settins back to default so what security settings?? how do i change it??

Default settings are not necessarily low enough for downloading to take place. You need to click Tools %26gt; Internet Options %26gt; Security and make sure the sliders are at the bottom and all cookies are accepted. You can restore it back to how it was once you have downloaded your files.

Well it depends what you are using. You should go to your start menu go and find the security programme you have then go on the setting and turn them of or if you are still stuck go on the Microsoft web and ask them! i hope i helped!
go to internet options %26gt; programs...reset web settings...

or

go to advanced tab, select restore defaults.. apply

it should be fine.
try re-booting your pc and then check your security settings again
Sounds like the firewall is blocking them...find your firewall look under settings then add the sites you want to connect with to the allowed list.
