First off, i have (Avast) on my pc some say its good and other say not, so i was thinking that its seems good becouse it scans the internet connection.

The question is, i went here i know that its a good site

So if i wrote down everything that it shows to do i think it is right so once more whould these be right to use,

Also during reformating my hard drive using the step at that site and if i do it right will i run into a viruse and if i do how do i remove it.

tell me if i delet the old partition will that remove the data or not?

I don't get it all but

1. if you wipe a partition your will lose your data

2. If you wipe a partition you will lose your data along with the virus.

3. Repartitioning is safer than reformatting if you really want to get rid of the virus.

4.Repartitioning is quite a drastic measure to get rid of a virus. If you can identify the virus, there's a lot of instructions and utilities out there.

Finally, if you repartitioned, reinstalled all your programs and insert an infected media, then you will be infected again... Get a good free antivirus (AVG) and antispyware (ad-aware) and firewall (windows or zonealarm) and downlaod latest updates for your OS.
