Virus:Trojan Problem?

Hi All

I am having weirdest of problems with my PC ever. I have eTrust PestPatrol, Avast Antivirus, Windows Defender, Windows firewall Installed on my XP machine.

Issues I am encountering at the moment:

1. Double-clicking on any of the hard drives in My Computer opens up in a new window rather than in the parent window[And I have checked in the folder settings and its fine there]

2. In the root of each drive there are files being generated named "aaa.exe" and "avsp.exe" automatically. Also "autorun.inf" is generated as well with following contents:

[autorun]

open=aaa.ExE

shell\1=Open

shell\1\Command=aaa.ExE

shell\2\=Explore

shell\2\Command=aaa.ExE

shellexecute=aaa.ExE

I have tried deleting these files but they regenerate themselves all the time, particularly when I open a particular drive. I fear that they are trojans.

Particularly I have found "avsp.exe" running in the memory sometimes through TaskManager %26 have stopped it.

Please help me out guys,

Thanks a lot

First if you are running two antivirus your PC, this is a serious conflict with your system. You can only run one antivirus and you can run four or five antispyware with out any conflict if you have the resources. One will always find what is missed by all others.
